Hi! I'm not into this jam, but I enjoyed your game! Some people may find this game too weird or the concept simple, but this is still a great idea, well executed! I know that for game jams, you need to do a lot of stuff in a restricted amount of time, but keep the prototype, you can turn it into, I don't know, a musical top-down open-world :) At least, this is the first thing that popped into my mind after I cleared the game!

Hey, thanks so much for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

Obligatory "is that a JoJo reference?"

I very much liked the audio feel of this, and the zoom out at the end was a nice touch.

The first part, where you have to backtrack (opposite of the direction of the arrows even), was counterintuitive for me, but eventually I figured out how to progress.

Clicking on the icons in the top corner gives them "focus". Pressing spacebar triggers whichever icon has focus, possibly changing volume, restarting, or exiting, when the player just wanted to play the most recent chord.

Hey thanks for the feedback! I did consider moving around those arrows at the start - it was one of those things where I was used to how it played since the start and it turned out a bit different to the layout of the rest of the game.

Speaking of unchanged behaviour... Spacebar playing the most recent chord was implemented long before the buttons were added and I ended up rarely using it in testing once the buttons were in.

Thanks again!

(I actually haven't watched JoJo yet ): but I've been recommended it a few times)

I don't actually care for JoJo, but I was referencing the heavily memed outro music. (Example meme use: battlefield, lion.) I kept subconsciously expecting "To Be Continued" to pop up while playing the game. ;)

Ah of course, I'd heard that meme came from JoJo!

(Also I updated the game with your recommendations :))
